The purpose of this website, since a physical copy of this piece does not exist, is to act as an artwork. 

You will never known if what you are reading is fact or fiction.  

The project aims to present a critical interpretation of the ways in which documentation can be used and what documentation can represent. Taking influence from Peggy Phelan's concept of live performance, (a performance needs to be experienced first hand rather than through media sources), I developed a piece that presents a false perception of an event that never actually took place. 
I created a space that an audience could visit and report their experience. The space was not documented with pictures or recording, but through a survey completed by the those who attended the event .

The previous answers and videos are the only memory of the performance/installation. 

The piece resembles concepts closely associated with Tino Sehgal, which highlights that the experience of a piece only dies once the memory of those who experienced it dies; quite a  ephemeral conviction for a piece that would not considered ephemeral. I consider the piece ephemeral art, it can be re-created but it won't ever be the same.
The aim is to confuse you while telling you the truth through lies. You cannot be sure if what you read has happened or not...but who you can trust are these people, anonymous strangers who gave experienced about an artwork. but how do you know how would you react to the piece?
